1. Overview
TECHTONE SRL (CUI 51878627), operator of Liebmatch, is committed to transparent billing and fair handling of refund requests. Payments are processed on our behalf by CCBill, LLC.
2. Credits (prepaid digital currency)
Credits are delivered instantly upon purchase and are usable only within Liebmatch (to unlock content, send gifts, initiate calls, or priority messaging).
- Unused credits: may be refunded within 14 days of purchase, in full, provided that none of the purchased credits have been consumed.
- Consumed credits are non-refundable, as the corresponding digital service has already been delivered and consumed by the User.
- Credit expiry: credits never expire automatically unless explicitly stated at the point of sale for a specific promotional pack.
3. Subscriptions
Subscriptions provide recurring access to premium features. You may cancel at any time from Settings → Subscription → Cancel.
- First billing cycle: refundable within 14 days of the initial charge, provided that no paid feature has been consumed (e.g., no premium message unlocks, no boosts used). If premium features have been used, a pro-rated refund may be granted at our discretion.
- Subsequent renewals: the renewal amount is non-refundable after the new billing period starts, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise. Cancellation before the renewal date prevents the next charge.
- Access after cancellation: you keep access to subscription benefits until the end of the period already paid for.
4. EU right of withdrawal (digital content)
Under Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. For digital content delivered immediately (credits, subscription features), you waive this right by ticking the express consent box at checkout, as permitted by Article 16(m) of the Directive. Even so, we offer the voluntary 14-day refund described in sections 2 and 3 above for unused credits and first-time subscription purchases.
5. How to request a refund
To request a refund, contact us within 14 days of the charge:
- Email our customer service at [email protected] with your account email, approximate date of purchase, and the transaction ID (visible in the CCBill receipt sent to you).
- Or use CCBill’s consumer support directly: https://support.ccbill.com. CCBill Consumer Support is available 24/7.
Eligible refunds are credited back to the original payment method, typically within 7 to 10 business days of approval.
6. Exceptions
We will deny refunds in cases of:
- Account termination for breach of the Terms of Service;
- Fraudulent or abusive purchase patterns, including excessive chargebacks and refund-requesting behavior;
- Requests made more than 14 days after the charge, except where mandated by applicable law.
7. Chargebacks
Before initiating a chargeback with your card issuer, please contact us at [email protected] or CCBill Consumer Support. We resolve most disputes within 2 business days. Unwarranted chargebacks may result in account suspension and referral to collections.
